Accounts Payable Specialist

An immediate opportunity exists for a skilled individual to join our Accounting team as an Accounts Payable Specialist. 

About the Position

The Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for the full cycle accounts payable duties, maintaining vendor records and other routine accounting tasks.  

Major Responsibilities:                                                                                

  • Enter invoices accurately using 3 way match process.

  • Review and enter employee expense reports.

  • Process vendor payments.

  • Maintain vendor files including paid voucher files.

  • Maintain vendor information for 1099 filings.

  • Statement research and reconciliation.

  • Other Accounting department tasks as required.


Job Requirements:

  • Accounting / Finance background with 2-3 year’s experience.

  • Ability to manage time effectively, prioritizing competing tasks in order to meet deadlines.

  • Strong analytical, communication (written and oral) and organizational skills.

  • Proficient PC skills (especially Excel), and other Microsoft Office applications. 

  • Knowledge and experience with integrated accounting software.

  • Experience with Epicor Vantage desirable.

  • Comfortable working in a team environment.
