Movember 2017 Begins

Movember2017 Begins

Proton OnSite Employees on 1st day of Movember 2017

Did you know data suggests that men experience worse long-term health than women do over their lifetime? How about the fact that men die on average six years earlier than women?

The risks associated with men's health are staggering:

  • prostate cancer rates are expected to double in the next 15 years
  • testicular cancer rates have doubled in the last 50
  • three quarters of suicides are men

For these reasons, Proton OnSite employees banded together this November to participate in the Movember Challenge. Initiated to bring attention to preventative health care and mental illness in men, the Movember Foundation has become a pioneer in addressing the current crisis at a global scale.

Why We Mo

Proton OnSite is dedicated to supporting the health and happiness of our staff and extended "Proton family." As part of a fun initiative to draw attention to the Movember Foundation, and it's important cause, some of our team members have now made the annual commitment to grow facial hair during the month of November.
